10 FREE WAYS TO KEEP ROMANCE ALIVE By Roxanna Ward

In the hustle and bustle of life, it is easy to lose track of romance. Unfortumately our relationship is usually on the back burner. We are too tired from working all day. The kids have worn us out. And after all the bills are paid, there is nothing left for romance. However, romance can be free. Here are a few free ideas:

1. Drop the kids off at a friends house for a few hours (or maybe all night). This is a great way to get some alone time together. If one of you has to work, this can be some "me" time. A time to get rejouvinated and de-stressed.

2. Take a walk together. Hold hands and enjoy the outdoors. Talk with each other about your day. Or take this time to do a little talking about your love life. By the time your walk is overwith, you'll be running home.

3. Put your partners favorite video or DVD in and watch it with them. Sit back and really get into the movie. Ask questions and be truly interested in his interests.

4. Cook your partners favorite meal. Especially if it is for breakfast. Serve it to them in bed early one weekend morning. If it is dinner, have a picnic in the livingroom floor surrounded by candles.

5. Let your partner sleep late. Take the kids out for breakfast and let them sleep late.

6. Leave love notes all over the house. Either clean ones that the kids can read or more risky ones when the kids are away. Write on the mirror, leave one on the toilet seat lid .. whereever they will least expect it.

7. Check out their favorite book for them at the library. Or put that one they they've been waiting for on hold for them. They'll be thrilled that you paid attention.

8. Make out on the couch. Act like teenagers again. There is nothing like a good make out session to get the fires burning again.

9. When going someplce together, kiss at every red light or stop sign. I mean REALLY kiss. If the kids are with you, keep it cleaner.

10. Listen to your partner when they talk to you.
